Job Overview:

The Value Analyst supports the execution of value realization and governance frameworks within the bank’s transformation portfolio. As part of novobanco’s Value Management Office team, this role helps track initiative performance, ensure alignment with strategic objectives, and contribute to process improvements in governance and portfolio management. Success in this role requires strong analytical capabilities, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate across teams to support decision-making and portfolio oversight.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in tracking and evaluating the value realization performance of transformation initiatives
  • Collect and analyze data to support business cases, benefit tracking, and performance reporting
  • Support the development of reports and dashboards to provide transparency on initiative outcomes
  • Assist in preparing materials for governance forums, including the Value Management Group (VMG) committee
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of governance decisions and portfolio updates
  • Maintain governance records and contribute to process standardization
  • Support process assessments to identify inefficiencies in portfolio governance and value tracking
  • Help implement best practices in governance and reporting to improve efficiency and decision-making
  • Contribute to process automation and tool enhancements where applicable.
  • Work closely with transformation teams, finance, and business units to gather relevant data
  • Support communication efforts by preparing clear and structured presentations and reports
  • Assist in fostering a culture of value-driven decision-making across teams.

 

Profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, information technology, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus
  • 1-3 years in an analytical or reporting role, preferably in portfolio management, finance, consulting, or transformation-related functions
  • Strong analytical and data interpretation skills
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI)
  • Experience with backlog management and agile ways of working
  • Familiarity with portfolio governance and project management processes is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and structured problem-solving skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication abilities
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and adapt to dynamic environments
  • Basic certifications in project management (e.g., CAPM, PRINCE2 Foundation) or process improvement (e.g., Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt) are a plus.
