As part of the Data & Analytics Department, the Customer Data Assets team is expanding and is currently seeking to reinforce its structure with a new team member.
Data Engineer
Local: Oeira / Porto Salvo
Main responsabilities
- Lead and collaborate with the team to identify technical solutions and improvements.
- Oversee technical execution to ensure consistency and delivery quality across initiatives.
- Assure that implementation leads to a reliable and well monitored production solution.
- Manage internal audits to identify areas of improvement within the project scope and ensure code review practice.
- Know the technological trends and train engineers on new solutions and best practices.
- Architect (software or platform) solutions for both analytical and operational scenarios.
- Analyze hardware and software requirements needed for initiative implementation.
- Responsible for quality assurance of the implementation and good translation between design and implementation.
- Liase with tech lead and project manager of the initiative making sure of architecture alignment.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on various technical topics.
- Ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of all information.
- Comply with all applicable Information Security Management System documents and procedures.
- Contribute proactively to the protection of information, including sharing verbally sensitive information.
Profile
- Degree or Master in Data, Mathematics, Engineer or similiar
- Experience of 1 or 2 years in similar roles
- Fluent in English (written and spoken) is a requirement
- Experience in ETL Processes (Batch, Micro-batch and Real-Time Processing (Data Streaming/Event Processing))
- Knowledge of Microsoft Fabric, Microsoft Power BI (Dashboards and Report Builder), Microsoft Azure: Data Bricks, Data Factory, Data Lake, Python, Hadoop and Spark
