We are seeking a professional with 3 to 5 years of experience in Corporate Finance or FP&A to join the Corporate Development team at novobanco.

This team plays a key role in shaping the Group’s strategic agenda, leading the structuring and execution of high-impact initiatives across novobanco’s financial business perimeter. Its scope includes managing acquisition and integration processes, executing asset divestments, and driving transformation and organizational optimization projects that support sustainable growth and value creation.

Main Activities

As part of this team, you will:

• Develop, maintain, and validate robust financial models, business cases, and forward-looking economic and financial projections
• Take ownership of budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes, as well as performance monitoring, including variance analysis and the definition of actionable recommendations.
• Produce high-quality financial reports and executive presentations to support decision-making, demonstrating strong synthesis and storytelling capabilities.
• Actively contribute to Corporate Finance projects (e.g., valuations, financial restructurings, asset integration and/or divestment), with direct exposure to both internal and external stakeholders.
• Lead and coordinate specific project workstreams, ensuring timely delivery, high-quality outputs, and effective collaboration with key internal and external stakeholders.

Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Management, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
• 3 to 5 years of relevant professional experience in Corporate Finance, FP&A, Management Control, or similar areas (experience in financial consulting or advisory is a plus).
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is mandatory.
• Strong ability to work autonomously, with excellent organizational and prioritization skills.
• Proven project management capabilities, including experience coordinating activities and engaging with multiple stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical mindset, critical thinking, and attention to detail.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modelling.
• Solid experience in financial analysis, management reporting, and decision support.
• Good understanding of Corporate Finance principles, including valuation, budgeting, and forecasting.
